Completed reading of Middle Ages and began working on our group posters for the reading. These will need to be completed by the end of class tomorrow.

We reviewed the textbook and completed a QuickWrite paragraph that explained our understanding of the classroom expectations. This is worth 5 pts.

We continued with the project by examining several slides of artifacts using the SEE-WONDER-THINK strategy in the attempt to identify patterns and behaviors. Students were able to identify several trends:

1. Gender toys

a. Boys–construction/science

2. Fascination with bowling.

3. Fascination with space and atomic energy/bomb.

We reviewed last week’s film and reviewed the cultural ages we studied last quarter. Tomorrow we will prepare to study the importance of the Renaissance in starting the scientific revolution by studying in-depth the Middle Ages.
