We discussed the central question: How did Europeans and Americans conquer and colonize the Pacific Northwest?

paintingAfter studying the above picture of Christopher Columbus and the subjects of chapters 4, 5, & 6, we determined that they used their governments’ military, economic and religious power. On Wednesday, we will discuss how America used its military power to colonize the Pacific Northwest.
