Student talk: If you were assigned to use a textbook for the year, how would you go about understanding what the book was all about, without reading it.

Textbook Inventory

  1. Title? (What does the title tell you about the subject?)
  2. Table of contents? (how is the book chaptered/section?)
  3. What is in each chapter/section?
  4. Is the content of the book meeting the expectation of the title?
